Today, I have in-store swatches from the MAC Get Blazed Collection. It’s glitzy, glittery and metallic! It’s not just for the holidays! I would have definitely have liked to own this collection, it’s really gorgeous! However, my budget allowed for only one product.
Since I don’t own everything and only swatched them in-store, I cannot review them. This post is purely for swatches. Note that I also didn’t use any primer for the eyeshadows, so they could look a lot better. With Fix + (or water), the eyeshadows will look a lot more intense!
Swatched at the top, are the Bling Thing Liquid Lip Top Coats. They have been compared to the Lime Crime Diamond Crushers. I think their consistency is a little more opaque and these are not duo-chromatic like the Diamond Crushers. But they do dry down just like them. (They are not glosses.)
I liked every single one of the toppers and would definitely wear each of them. But I picked my favorite and I’m super happy with it! I chose Love In a Bubble, the lilac pink. I definitely chose the right one! I love how it looks on me on it’s own, with no lipstick underneath. You can use this in the center of the lip or the entire lips, love how this looks worn either way! If I were to get another, I’d love to get Sweet Gleams, the peachy one.
The next four swatched, are the Bling Thing Liquid Lipcolours, I am personally in love with Commotion Motion. But I have similar so I decided not to spend more money. I think Dreamhouse from Jeffree Star Cosmetics might be a tad cooler. Commotion Motion may be brighter than Lime Crime’s Taffeta Velvetine. Purple For Daze also looks great and if I had an unlimited budget, I’d get that one too!
The rest of the swatches on my left arm are the eyeshadows. There are four Extra Dimension Foil Eye Shadows and four Shiny Pretty Shadows. However, one was missing from the display! The only reason why the eyeshadows aren’t labeled is because once I got down to the last four, I had no idea which was which and apparently I am missing one. But it should be obvious which one is Lunar Metal (teal), which is Violit (purple) and which is Cop A Pose (copper). I could wage a guess, but I did not want to risk putting incorrect information on the image.
The two gold ones right under Violit were creamy, the others didn’t have the same texture as those two. I would definitely like those two!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to swatch the Dazzledrops! Just as well, I probably would have loved those and wanted them.
You know, I have a lot to say when I only have swatches to show you!
Angie, the pro makeup artist demonstrated how amazing the Dazzle Highlighters look when wet with Fix +. At the top is Dazzlegold, and bottom, Dazzlepink. On the left is me swatching them dry.

Comparison swatches to Love In a Bubble Lip Topper:
The closest is Lime Crime Diamond Crusher in Acid Fairy but that one is duo-chromatic, therefore not the same!
I had thought Lime Crime’s Pink Champagne Metallic Velvetine may be similar but it’s way different, being a lot warmer. Lime Crime’s Pink Pearl Diamond Crusher also turned out to be very different, it’s a lot whiter with a sky blue duo-chromatic shift.
A reminder to those subscribed to my email list, I hid an Easter Egg in my newsletter and you have a chance to win a Cloud 9 Diamond Crusher! Subscribe to see when I make updates to the blog, sometimes I have giveaways!
