This collection is a throwback to Jeffree’s MySpace days with names such as “Top 8” “Scene Queen” “2003”. The shade names also has reminders of the darker side of that time, which is very real and could not be ignored. It’s a reminder of how far he is come, mentally.
The color palette is inspired by shades he’s worn back in the day. But don’t let that fool you, the palette is not super dated. These are colors we can wear confidently now and not look like we are from 2005. While silver is definitely an eyeshadow shade I would have worn in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, I can still wear it now… but differently. We also have the eyebrows to make it look like we are from the current year!
I thought that this color story would look great for a vampy or witchy Halloween look. For me, it arrived after Halloween which was fine because I went as Princess from The Walking Dead. But for next October, be ready to pull this out because you’ll be all witchy vibes with this!
It’s a short post today. I am currently trying to clean my house, which has been taken over by my business! Decorative soap has proven to be popular and I have been really busy making them for customers. I have another post to get up that is actually Christmas themed!
Two lip colors really caught my attention, if you’re familiar wit my blog, you already know they’re pink. The Supreme Glosses are one of my favorite formulas because of the moisture!
Cunt– Is a light pink. Great for everyday, a good balancing color if you go ham on the eyes. If you like the name, you may like the brand Holy Flaps. If you don’t like the name, you’re allowed to not like it. I think it’s funny how bold he is!
Beauty Killer– Named after Jeffree’s album, which is also the name of his first palette! It’s a bright cool toned magenta. It’s almost like Pink Vault, but cooler. I think this is a very flattering bright pink.
I had purchased Pink Vault at around the same time from Nordstrom Rack. Beauty Killer has more of a blue tone. I personally like the cooler toned pink best on my complexion, but I still like both!
If you need to see more pinks from JSC, I have a post covering my collection at the time. Please take a look if you need some comparisons between the pink shades. Also, don’t forget the Pink Religion post!
Throwing up Cereal is a gift for a friend, so no swatch of it in this post! This color is a lot of fun, being a bluish purple! I’m not sure if I could personally pull it of, but you can wear ANY color as long as you have the confidence! (I am not confident.)
This is what’s next! I am trying to finish my posts in between mopping and vacuuming!
