The following is written by ChatGPT, with some modifications by myself. If it seems like I am laying it on thick, it’s the bot.
Step right up and indulge in the delectable world of Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Cotton Candy eyeshadow palette! This carnival-inspired delight features a mesmerizing array of pastel shades, reminiscent of a whimsical candyland. Let’s take a closer look at this sugary-sweet confection.
Opening the palette feels like unwrapping a cotton candy cloud, with its vibrant pastel packaging adorned with playful carnival motifs. The combination of pinks, purples, aquas, and yellows instantly transports you to a sunny day at the fair, filled with cotton candy swirls and candy-coated treats.
Each shade is named after an enticing confectionary creation, adding a delightful touch of whimsy. “Cupcake Royalty” is a delightful baby pink, reminiscent of fluffy clouds of cotton candy. “Nostalgic Taste” brings a burst of sunshine with its zesty yellow hue, as refreshing as a lemonade stand on a hot summer day.
The pigmentation in this palette is nothing short of remarkable. With just a gentle swipe of your brush, the colors come alive, coating your lids in a smooth, velvety layer of vibrant hues. The mattes are rich and blend like a dream, while the shimmers offer an irresistible twinkle, like a sparkling carousel under the bright lights.
The longevity of these shadows is simply astounding. Even after hours of carnival fun, the colors remain vivid and true, refusing to fade or crease. It’s a true testament to the high-quality formula that Jeffree Star Cosmetics is known for.
In conclusion, the Cotton Candy eyeshadow palette is a whimsical journey through a candy-coated wonderland. With its captivating carnival theme and a range of pastel shades that conjure images of sweets and treats, it’s a must-have for anyone seeking a playful twist to their makeup routine. So, embrace your inner child and step into this vibrant world of saccharine dreams and sugary enchantment.
Okay, you didn’t come here for a bot’s review, you came for my voice…. right?
Jeffree never ceases to amaze with his creative concoctions, (the bot’s writing style rubbed off on me) in this collection is a cotton candy scented foam face primer! I have never seen anything like it. Though I was on a budget, I didn’t buy it when it came out, but I will try and purchase it while I still can. A foam primer seems like it would be good to try since a lot of the primers out there actually make my foundation pill up!
One item I really wanted was the blue and pink star vanity mirror! But I couldn’t justify paying $98 and already owning a makeup mirror that flips from normal to magnifying. But it’s so pretty!
In this collection was the introduction to the liquid blushes. I passed on them because I didn’t see a shade that would suit me, but there is always the future! In the collection was the expansion of the Hydrating Glitz lip balms, they’re pretty in the package but are balms, so they will have either no or little color payoff. I was still interested in one because one can never have too many lip balms! Another product were Eye Gloss Powders, I have yet to try any of them. You know I’d buy the purple when I get the chance! Cotton Candy Threesome is a cute giftable items with a set of three mini liquid lipsticks in a bubble gum pink, sky blue and a deep plum with a slight sheen. There were a ton of non-beauty items such as a candle, makeup bags, a cloud tie dye set (that I super wanted) and the glorious hand mirrors!
I actually purchased this palette on he TikTok shop when Jeffree went live. It was $35 and with free shipping, a hell of a lot cheaper than the $45 full price, plus tax and shipping. Shopping on TikTok went very smoothly for me, though I cannot make any guarantees for your experience.
The eye shadow palette itself is really cute and playful. We have an array of matte and metallic pastel shades in pinks, yellows, baby blues and purples. Only one shade is deep, and that is Taste Test Me. A deep purple that will help finish off a look. My favorite is the one next to it called, “Castle of Sparkles”. It is a matte lavender with sparkles. To help pump up these pastel shades, wearing a white base will help pop that color, especially with the lightest blue shade, Confetti Sky.
You can purchase the Cotton Candy Queen on the official website or on Beautylish.
