I love it when a deserving small business goes viral on social media! The algorithm did it right when it showed me videos of Euphoria, the sparkly holographic purple gloss from Queen Cosmetics! Then it showed me the glosses of Stardom, five shades in gorgeous space-inspired chromatic shades complete with glitter and shimmer! These are truly gorgeous and I’d pay to see another brand that make it shine and sparkle to this extent!
This is definitely one of those things once I saw it on TikTok, I had to buy it the moment the restock launched. Two things I cannot resist, holographic & iridescent finishes and anything space-themed! Well, let’s add the third thing I cannot resist… makeup! The Stardom collection consists of five glosses, four of which appear to be iridescent (which isn’t really accurate) they have a milky base with prismatic color flakes, which is described on the official site as kaleidoscopic chameleon flakes. Euphoria is a purple base with a ton of holographic glitter. Queen Cosmetics also makes holo glosses with a silver, gold, rose gold, bronze and a black base.
Even though Euphoria packed with glitter, it doesn’t feel super gritty. I am shocked and very glad she was able to achieve that! I can feel that it’s there, but it’s not uncomfortable to the point where it feels like sand. It’s a gloss, so it’s going to have translucency, and it can’t have opaque wall-to-wall glitter. If the base was opaque, then you would not be able to see most of the sparkle because the base would be covering it. If there were more glitter added, it would feel pretty gritty. But it doesn’t need it, I think the balance works out really well. The gloss still feels comfortable and moisturizing. The sparkles in the Stardom glosses are so fine that I don’t feel any texture at all. I like to wear Euphoria and Supernova with Lime Crime’s Plushie, Plum Pudding, a metallic lavender liquid lipstick.
The best way to see the holographic sparkle and prismatic sheen is to layer over a matte liquid lipstick, the sparkle will show best on a dark color. You can wear it however you want, but it’s how you will get the most impact. You can definitely wear it over bare lips, but you’ll see the most power over a dark matte liquid lipstick. I think over a cream lipstick, the formulas will eventually muddle together. They are glosses, so they will dissipate over time, it’s just the nature of gloss. Take them with you to reapply. I’d re-purchase backups because I know I’ll be using them up.
This is the kind of business I love to support! Ellie makes these glosses herself in her home studio, being a one-woman show, while recovering from a spinal cord injury. It’s a story that will inspire anyone to overcome obstacles and pursue the dream! If anyone knows me at all, the story hits close to home. You should definitely check out Ellie’s YouTube Channel. She shows how she makes the glosses and gives us a glimpse into her small biz!
I am going to buy more to gift to my friends for the holidays if I am able to snag them in time! The black halloween holographic Black Widow sold out before I could get one. But I will try to buy it on the restock on Sept 16th!

Now for 20 million photos of the same thing. (This is good for Pinterest!)
I discovered the low light feature on the camera! Not news to anyone else, but me! This really shows the effect.
The Shades:
Cosmic Dust is a peachy pink with gold flashes.
Interstellar–Interstellar is gold
Aurora is an icy blue
Nebula is a silvery pinky purple
Supernova– I thought That Euphoria would be my favorite, but it’s definitely Supernova! The gorgeous pink sheen and iridescent flakes are irresistible. I also feel like it has enough color payoff to wear it by itself.
Euphoria– Named after the HBO show, this holographic packed purple really does encompass the vibe of Euphoria. If you’re a fan, Queen Cosmetics also has an 9-pan eyeshadow palette named after the characters. Also, check out my previous post about Half Magic Beauty!
My collection of iridescent lip glosses, the Inglot one being the true iridescent. These don’t have the kaleidoscopic chameleon flakes like the Queen glosses do, but I still like them of course! If I could find the Huda Beauty ones, I’d swatch them side-by-side with the Queen ones. I have everything “organized” in boxes…. I can never find anything.
