Okay, this is not a World of Warcraft blog. My main audience is here for the makeup reviews. However, this is my blog and I play World of Warcraft.
Battle For Azeroth is coming out in THREE DAYS. And last week there had been so much controversy surrounding Sylvanas Windrunner, and the Burning of Teldrassil. Then Blizzard shocked us all with the incredible “Old Soldier” cinematic and gave the fans hope again. I can either not write about it at all or write an entire in-depth analysis that no one will read but an argumentative 12 year old. I don’t feel like talking to 12 year olds, so instead I will discuss my line of World of Warcraft inspired shirts!
Two days after #Sylvanas was trending, High Overlord Saurfang got his own hashtags: #noshouldersforoldsoliders and #nohonornopauldron
Turning the hashtag into a shirt came to me as I was doing world quests in Darkshore. I immediately logged off and started sketching out an idea. So I present to you what I came up with that very night. A 300 and 30 Days of Night inspired design of Saurfang’s hastily affixed pauldron and blood splatters. Because that’s Alliance blood he has on there.
This is of course, a tank top… because no shoulders. It comes in heather gray, white, charcoal black and red. This top fits both men and women, and is likely to be loose fitting on more slender frames. I have purchased this top myself, so I will see in a few days how it fits and will recommend if women should size down or not.
Show your pride for what the Horde should be! Not Sylvanas’ Horde. Not Garrosh’s Horde. But the one Thrall envisioned. The one Varok Saurfang wants back. The one he WILL bring back. Zekhan, aka Zappy Boi would totally wear this!
Legion brought the individual classes together and really brought out class pride. So this is the Class Order Hall collection! Where do you belong?
This collection consists of the class titles in their class color (down to the hexcode) simply put against a black shirt. It comes in men’s t-shirts, women’s fitted tees, plus sized tees and muscle tanks. It’s a simple design, but cool enough to wear on your Twitch stream or to Blizzcon! I am buying Mage and Warlock myself. I am unsure what the general public would think of Priest and Shaman shirts. But I think Warrior is pretty popular with the fitness crowd.
Instead of the faction battle, (which is what the Old Gods want, and I don’t know about the Titan of Chaos, but her blood is causing issues) I wanted to go back to the unity that Legion brought us!
If you are not familiar with my first Gamer collection. I made generic Helvetica & style tees with each of the World of Warcraft classes with their specs. They come in black, white and the closest t-shirt to their class color as the printing companies offered. This collection took forever to do, but I proudly sport my Mage Helvetica & tank top and lightweight hoodie.
The most popular collection is based off inside jokes among the community or just things I or my friends came up with. This collection will continue to grow!
A few years ago, there was a hilarious rumor that Jaina Proudmoore was actually possessed by a Dreadlord. The devs at Blizzard debunked that theory, but it’s still fun to joke about. After reading a few of Christie Golden’s novels I really love the character of Jaina and her journey. Her story is not yet over, there is still much more and I am looking forward to it. And Jaina is our HERO! So I made that shirt. She really came to save the day on her father’s ship. I hope that one day, my mage skills can lift something as large as the flagship of Kul Tiras into the air. Thanks for letting us borrow the Vindicaar btw, Army of the Light.
I do not have “Filthy Casual” because that is already a gamer clothing brand. But if you like it you should really check out their store! They have amazing designs and I bought myself a galaxy tee. I think I should have gotten the pizza one too.
Speaking of pizza… I have one too!
This idea came from my Shaman friend (shoutout to Tony!) He wanted to name our guild/raid alliance: “After This We’re Getting Pizza” However, there were too many characters to make it into a guild. But we named our battle.net community that. And we really need to get some pizza.
As you can see I actually did order a pizza:
I am trying trying to gather all of my designs and make women’s plus sized versions. I have over 200 tees to go through, create mockups and then push them to the store.
The current designs are pretty simple as I am trying not to violate any copyright laws. The last thing I need is to get sued! But I will definitely come up with more designs. I want to create more illustrated tees, but those take a lot more time than just plain text. So follow me on Instagram, and sign up for my email newsletter and you will be the first to see when new designs come out! If I can get my email service to allow you to choose which niche areas are to your interest I will see if I can get that done. I know the makeup fans probably have no idea what this nerd game is.
What’s my side you ask?
FOR THE ALLIANCE!!!!
But real WoW players play both sides.
(Yes, that is an upcoming tee)
Also, Blizzard if you see this, I am up for a collab creating a World of Warcraft makeup collection. What better way to combine my two loves and make my entire website make sense?
