Do you consider this a Christmas movie, Halloween movie or go in-between and make it a Thanksgiving one? It’s a year-round appropriate film to me! But I’ll watch horror movies all year too. I’m super into the concept of Creepmas this year, and I am trying to get away with my decor being slightly Halloweeny.
The promo image was slightly misleading, it definitely looked like there were a lot more purples, when there is just one. ColourPop did release more promo photos in more realistic lighting so we did know what we were getting into. And I like to collect the fandom collabs so it was coming over to my house to live, no matter what. Besides I have 10 billion purple eyeshadows. I’ll live. A lot of comments on the Instagram seemed to hate the color choices. I have no claim to The Nightmare Before Christmas, so I personally don’t care. These are colors I’ll wear.
You know what the real nightmare before Christmas is? Running a small crafty business and also having to host family for Christmas. There is stationery, shirts, soaps and packaging material taking all over the house! Somehow I have to get everything done in a week. Well, I can start by not writing an in-depth review complete with references to the movie! As great as that sounds, I have a house to clean!
The ornament packaging is cute. I actually have Sally hanging on my tree!
I seem to not have a swatch for this gorgeous pink lipstick. It got swept up in my cleaning frenzy and I am afraid I won’t be able to find it for another few months!
Some people didn’t care for the Sally lipstick being hot pink, and that it should have matched her red hair color. Probably. But I am partial to the hot pink and wouldn’t wear a tomato red. For me it works out, for some fans, they were not so big on it.
The imprint on the lipstick made it extra special. I do like it when brands have those extra touches!
I also bought the white liquid eyeliner. It was something I could have used when I did a makeup look (I did Tyrande as The Night Warrior) and the lines would have been much more crisp and clean with this liquid liner. Unfortunately, I used blacklight paint that didn’t glow and didn’t want to go on smooth. I seem to not have any photos of the liner or swatches. So great at blogging! Oh well, the post will be me more relaxed with more information. It’s a chaotic time…
If you are also into Creepmas, I have a couple of links for wrapping paper to get for next year:
