Jouer Skinny Dip Ultra Foil Shimmer Shadows (Swatches and Review)

Jouer Skinny Dip Ultra Foil Shimmer Shadows

The last two reviews weren’t so glowing, but this one will turn the vibe of this blog around.
The Skinny Dip palette is incredible! And for $40, it is not a bad price for such great quality shadows.

One swipe for most of them except for Bikini and Midnight Swim which have two. I swatched without eye shadow primer, using my finger. And they glided on, super pigmented.

I am wearing Bikini on my eyes at this very moment, and I only dipped into it once, and it’s intense on my lids. Swatching takes a bit more product vs patting it on your eyes of course, which is why Bikini looks weaker on my arm, especially next to the others. But it’s not weak, I assure you!

This palette is refreshing not only because of the intense metallic pigment, but also because it’s not freakin’ orange! Don’t get me wrong. I love my warm looks, I use warm palettes, but I have plenty of them! I do not need another one. This one leans toward olive, which is something I don’t see often. Even Tan Lines, which is the warmest, has an olive toned shift. And it’s actually pretty nice because it’s different than what I already own. Making this palette worth being in my collection.

I highly recommend picking this palette up if you are interested in ultra metallic eye shadows. They are so beautiful! I am so impressed by the quality!

The only downside for me, is that this palette is hard to photograph! Ha, that is seriously my only complaint!

And what do I think of the original Skinny Dip Lip Topper? I love it. It’s ultra moisturizing, which I greatly welcome after applying a liquid lipstick. They’re all so drying on my lips personally, so the toppers are a breath of fresh air. I also own Frost Bite, which I tend to reach for more than Skinny Dip.

Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored. I bought the palette and Lip Toppers with my own money. All opinions are my own.
